Select any Notes database (email, personal address book, applications etc.) on your workspace, open scanEZ from the Notes client toolbar.
In the scanEZ menu go to Database > Options > View Mode > Hex. This will show any field as its real content in Hexadecimal rather than it's value (text or number or date, etc.) This is especially useful when you are coding in C API, since at times you will need to set specific values at specific hexadecimal positions.
