Easy Access within Lotus Notes

Compatible with Lotus Notes 4.6x and up

Compatible with Lotus Notes and Domino 4.6x and up (including the latest 8.x), scanEZ will function in virtually any active Lotus Notes environment today.

Direct Toolbar Access

A SmartIcon (before R6) or ToolBar (R6 and up) lets you open scanEZ with the focus on the document(s) currently selected in a view or a folder. Using the scanEZ add-in menu (in Actions menu), allows you to select several documents in a view or folder and open them in scanEZ. If no document is selected, it will open with the currently opened database.

scanEZ Extension Database

The scanEZ Extension database is used to overcome a Notes API limitation and lets you open multiple documents from any Lotus Notes view directly in scanEZ.

Runs Separately from Notes

scanEZ is a stand-alone application. This means you can open several instances of scanEZ and switch between each of them and your Lotus Notes client. If your Notes client is busy (refreshing a view, processing etc.), you can still use your already opened scanEZ. You can even open scanEZ directly from the Windows Explorer, without even opening your Notes client. This can be extremely useful when debugging LotusScript, when there is no way to access the Notes client itself.

Use scanEZ with Other User IDs

scanEZ can be used with any ID, and is not tied to a specific ID file. You can also set up scanEZ so that you can easily switch between ID files.
