What's New in All Products?Note: This page highlights some of the more significant changes in the EZ 10.5 updates, but you can click here to see the complete version history (including the bug fixes and enhancements included in the EZ Suite 10.5.1 updates).
Column freezing in grid-type windows
Now you can freeze columns in any Ytria grid-type window. This allows you to keep one-or-more columns visible while scrolling horizontally.
The feature is available via the right-click menu in any grouping grid-type window. Keyboard shortcuts are also available for this feature: F4=Open Freeze Columns dialog; Ctrl+F4= Freeze up to currently selected column; Ctrl+Shift+F4=Unfreeze Columns.

‘Sort groupings by count’ in grid windows
Now when you group by column headers in any Ytria product you can sort by count. This means that rather than using alphabetical sorting, you have the option of sorting any column header by the number of elements/items grouped together—which is often much more meaningful. You can find the ‘Sort Groupings by Count' option by right-clicking inside any grid window and choosing Grid Actions.
More user-friendly change logging capabilities
The EZ Suite version 10 introduced a change logging option which allows you to keep tabs on the changes that you and your team make to your Lotus Notes applications using Ytria tools. Now with the version 10.5 enabling this feature is simpler and more accessible: Just open the ‘Modification Log Database Options’ dialog. In scanEZ, you’ll find it under Database>Options menu; for all other Ytria tools, you’ll find it in the Options menu.
Enhanced status feedback in grid windows
Now databaseEZ, agentEZ and aclEZ show additional status update icons to indicate when an element in the main grid has been updated or if an attempted update has failed.
Convenient access to recently used servers and databases
Now in addition to the 'Favorite Databases' and 'Favorite Servers' menu options in Ytrias, new 'Recent Databases' and 'Recent Servers' options are available.
What's New in databaseEZ 10.5?(Back to top)
New database properties available for analysis
Additional properties, which help you better understand the composition of your databases, can now be shown in databaseEZ’s grid. Using the Grid Data Composition panel you can now add columns for seeing the number of: documents; designs; form class notes; view class notes; filter class notes; field class notes; replication formula class notes; private design class notes; and deletion stubs.
Tighter integration with designPropEZ
Now you can launch designPropEZ batch processes in databaseEZ’s grid. To do this, you just need to make a selection, then right-click and choose ‘Batch Process Using designPropEZ’ in the contextual menu.
New console command options
You can now initiate console commands on one-or-more databases right inside databaseEZ. To do this, just make a database selection in the main grid and then choose ‘Console Command…’ in the Tools menu (or the right-click menu).
Added ‘never replicate’ flag
Now administrators can easily set or unset the relatively little-known ‘never replicate’ flag. When set, this flag will remove any possibility of a database replicating.
Dynamic property editing dialogs
In the dialogs for editing database properties (e.g. Edit Database Advanced Properties, Edit Database Basics, etc.), properties that do not have summarized data available and have not yet been loaded in the grid will be displayed in color text. We do this to remind you that the state of these properties cannot be known until they’ve been loaded.
Clear replication histories for many databases at once
The new ‘Clear replication history’ option in databaseEZ’s tools menu lets you remove the replication histories for multiple selected databases in a single operation.
Copy databases via right-click menu
You can now copy databases selected in the main grid as application links via the right-click menu.
More interface enhancements and convenient features
The new databaseEZ also offers the following improvements: The dialogs for editing database properties are no longer modal (i.e. you can now adjust your grid selection when one of the four database property editing dialogs is open); more clearly visible column highlighting in the main grid; The Property Analyzer grid now shades cells green for databases which do not match a given property filter.
What's New in scanEZ 10.5?
Launch scanEZ by URL
You can now open scanEZ via a newly supported “scanez://” URL type. You can enable this functionality in the scanEZ Tools menu.
New Document Analyzer search options
The new Document Analyzer now lets you find response documents that are their own parents as well as notes that are in conflict with themselves. Yes, both of these anomalies can and do happen!
New ‘My Selection’ virtual folder functionalities
The ‘Move to…’ command in the My Selection and Checkbox Selection menus now offers you the option of moving your selection to a new ‘My Selection’ virtual folder. In addition, you can now right-click a document or category of documents in the Selection Tree and add any available parent documents to your My Selection folder.
Improved Note Info panel
The Note Info panel now shows you the ‘class type’ of any selected document or design (i.e. document; form; filter; etc.) as well as the Flags for any note.
New scanEZ XML saved selection support
You can now open XML files with saved document and design selections in scanEZ. You’ll find this option under Database>Load Selection.
What's New in aclEZ 10.5?
New filters for easier NAB management
Now it’s easier than ever to spot anomalies in NABs with aclEZ: The NAB Group Navigator dialog now offers checkbox filters to find: recursive groups (i.e. groups contain themselves); missing or non-existent groups; or empty groups.
Export ‘tree view’ of NAB groups
You can now export the tree layout in the NAB group navigator to an XML file. To do this, simply right-click any branch of the tree view and choose the ‘Export to XML’ option.
Support for Multiple NABs
If a server has more than one NAB, aclEZ’s NAB Group Navigator will now let you choose which one to look at via a drop-down menu.
Additional information in Global ACL Properties panel
This panel now lets you see the last signature time; the last signer; plus the certifier for the last signature.
What's New in agentEZ 10.5?
Customizable agent timeline chart image exportation
Now when you copy an agent timeline to the clipboard, a dialog box will now appear allowing you to choose which agents to include in the image and to set your labelling preferences.
Save and restore key agent settings
The key scheduled agent settings can now be saved and restored in agentEZ, including: all settings related to agent scheduling (i.e. the settings in the ‘Runtime Properties’ dialog; ‘Run on’ settings; enabled/disabled statuses; ‘Run on behalf of..’ settings; and the ‘Runtime security level’ setting). This feature can be a huge time-saver for administrators dealing with design refreshes.

See agent comments in the grid
You now have option of displaying the ‘Agent Comments’ property in the main grid. This property is not shown by default but you can add it using the Grid Data Composition panel.
What's New in viewEZ 10.5?
All new View Properties grid
Managing view properties just got a lot easier thanks to the completely redesigned interface—the View Properties dialog now uses a grouping grid interface. You can customize the columns displayed through the right-click menu (each column represents a view property and each row represents a design element).
